This blog is devoted to my thoughts regarding Spinoza and how his philosophy and ideas can help us learn in a more joyful way. The blog is not explicitly “academic” and does not attempt to present an “authoritative” view on Spinoza’s educational theories, but rather uses Spinoza’s ideas as a springboard to help us re-think how we perceive learning; it is an exploratory blog inviting constructive, creative criticism. I am happy to revise my views in the light of helpful comments. I am not a philosopher, but a teacher educator who straddles both the teaching and academic world; I am interested in applying academic studies in practical ways.
